It was a big surprise to have falling snow in Greer in early October, but it sure made these kids' week!

These cousins worked well together to build this gingerbread haunted house. And then they enjoyed eating it.

These four girls love to spend time together. And this week, they got to spend 3 solid days together, and they couldn't be happier!

This park has been visited numerous times in recent years by our kiddos. They love the chance to run around and use up some energy, and it is conveniently located near the Springerville grocery store.

The trip to Greer was planned entirely around the opening of duck hunting season. If that is what it takes to bring family together, I'll all for it! Steve, his Dad, and brother-in-law Bart had a great time getting up super early in the morning in hopes of shooting at the sky that is black with ducks. Gary had great success, but I know that he had lots of help from Steve and Bart. The number of ducks doesn't really matter, they just had a super time going out there three days in a row.

Is 5-years-old too young to start some target practice with the BB gun? I guess not. The kiddos had a great time trying to hit a target that was labeled with such waterfowl as mallard, red tail, and pinhead.

All 13 of us gathered around this table for 3 meals a day for 3 days. What a super-blessed time with our family!

Good thing the cabin has grown as the family has grown, otherwise we would not fit. We had a great time with together!
