2nd Annual Cupcake Wars

Macy organized a friendly neighborhood Cupcake Wars! She delivered the flyers door-to-door, collected the registration forms, set up time-slots for teams to bake in our kitchen, sought out prestigious judges, and printed awards for the winners. There were 7 teams, each entering two varieties of cupcakes. The judges had their work cut out for them - first, because it is very hard to pick the best when they are all so good, and secondly, because they had to taste all 14 cupcakes! Take a look:

Every team was a winner, and so were all the other neighbors who got to enjoy eating the extra cupcakes! Thank you, Macy, for making this event happen!

Merry Christmas!

Excited to decorate for Christmas!

Everyone loves climbing the ladder to decorate the top of the tree.

Celebrating with the McInturf clan! Of course, the silly face photo is the one that came out the clearest, and it seems more true-to-life than one where they are all looking and smiling. We only get these 15 kids together once a year, and they all have so much fun every time.

Homemade cinnamon rolls - super yummy!

Seven cousins, wishing we had Max and Sophie with us too!

Her very own hair straightener. This is what 11-year-old's toys look like.

Allie is excited that it is Christmas Eve.

Tommy and Grandpa checking on the Oyster Stew.

Steve is enjoying his oysters!

These kids planned, practiced, and performed a sweet song for their grandparents. Loved it!

Christmas morning - waiting to come out of their room.

Stockings first!

The kids really loved giving gifts to each other. Allie loved her gift from Tommy - so sweet!

Lazer tag guns - super fun.

One Direction concert tickets - for all three Weber girls!

All the men grew mustaches for Christmas morning.

Magnum P.I. and I.

Macy enjoying their new mini trampoline that they got from their grandparents.

Jack trying out the CycoCycle!

This Christmas season was a blessed time with family celebrating the birth of our Savior. God is good!

Surprise trip to Disneyland!

The kids opened an early Christmas gift. It was a new disney shirt for each of them and a paper puzzle that they put together to spell Disneyland!

We arrived in LA with some time to spare, so we went to check out Hollywood and Santa Monica with our friends, the Kellers. The best part of that was the beach. All six Webers love the beach!!!

My love and I at the beach.

Starting to get a little too wet. Oops!

One of our family's favorite sports: bed-jumping!

Day one: Our happy place!

The Astro Orbiter is that awesome!

Over in California Adventure, Cars Land is just like the real thing!

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree!

Day two: Beat the crowd to Dumbo!

Us with Walt and Mickey.

A family favorite: the Silly Symphony Swings!

This is how free it makes you feel.

This is how happy it makes you feel.

This young man loves California Screamin' as much as his mom and dad. We must have ridden it 7 times!

The castle decked out for Christmas is beautiful! (As is the rest of the park!)

Day three: early morning spin on the teacups!

Pineapple Dole Whip, as recommended by Macy's teacher - just doin' our homework!

Another afternoon in Cars Land - Radiator Springs Racers in the background - great ride!!!

Tommy is officially a jedi after his training - he even went up against Darth Maul, and survived!

On our way out of the park - saying goodbye to Disneyland.

We didn't snap many photos of our 19 friends we ran into at Disneyland (the Kellers, Nails, and Fenders), but we had a fabulous time hanging out with them! What a super trip!!!

Gotta love fall!

This fall has been filled with lots of fun: a trip to Greer, Jack's 10th birthday, playing with neighbors, rainy days, Halloween, flag football games, cheering on an amazing IronWoman, Allie's 9th birthday, and Thanksgiving. This video shows you little glimpses of just our regular everyday life:

Seeing these video clips reminds me of everything we have to be thankful for. Cannot thank God enough!
