Family photoshoot

This beautiful 12-year-old is the one who suggested that we take our family photos while we're up in Greer in the fall. I think she's brilliant! The fall colors were beautiful. Great idea, Macy!

Jack, 11 years old.

Allie, 9 years old (but soon-to-be 10!)

Tommy, 8 years old

I love these four!!!

A tri-pod and Steve's dad made it possible to get the whole family in there.

Brothers

Thankful for this family, and this beautiful spot.

Greer in fall

These creative kids came up with their own play, and then acted it out for us. It was absolutely adorable!

I loved the dancing scene!

This motley bunch had a great morning on the hunt for ducks.

Do you see any girls in this photo?

The next day, this was the hunting crew.

Beautiful sunrise in the marsh!

Playing at the "prairie", checking on our geocache.

Allie cannot believe that some of her crazy cousins just used Grandma and Grandpa's outhouse!!!

Geocaching by the stream.

On the scenic lift ride at Sunrise Ski Resort.

You can see Jack, Macy and Mommy on the next bench.

At the top of the mountain - can't wait to come ski here in the winter!

On the ride back down.

I love the yellow aspen trees!

Jack's 11th Birthday

We celebrated Jack's birthday a few days early with the McInturfs because they were going to be out of town on his real birthday. Had a fun time playing Wits and Wagers and having dinner and dessert together.

Macy and Jack created a fun trivia game to play together with the whole family at Jack's party. They are so creative! It was lots of fun.

Jack congratulated Grandma on her stellar performance playing XBOX Kinect Adventures for the first time!

Jack had a great time going to Knott's Berry Farm with Grandma and Grandpa for his birthday - that was their gift to him.

Money to buy XBOX games is definitely the right size!

More ice cream cake with cousins - and Regan - she was staying with us for a week.

Tommy purchased this game with his own money for his brother. It didn't come with a label on the box (it was used), so Tommy made an even better one!

I love the faces they make when they concentrate on their game.

This is Jack and Grandma at Knott's Berry Farm. I think they got pretty wet. More than once!

I'm guessing Jack took Grandpa on this roller coaster more than once too. Our kids sure are blessed with some pretty awesome grandparents!

Happy Birthday, Jack!!! It was so much fun celebrating you!!
