Our big girl is doing some very grown up things. Besides being almost done with kindergarten, she also has 2 loose teeth and she learned to do the monkey bars!!! Only big kids do these kinds of things! Macy has really been an overcomer in the past year. During the entire first semester of kindergarten, she struggled with anxiety about how much time she had to be away from home each day. It was heart-breaking for her, and even more so for her parents. So now we can praise God for answering so many prayers and for helping her through that difficult stage. Macy is loving school! She has been the Star Student for a week and she has received a Principal's award for getting 100% on her spelling quizzes for the whole third quarter. She is such a blessing to Steve and I. I can recall very clearly when we so desperately longed for a baby 6 years ago, and God granted us Macy. God is so good!
