Star Students

The main thing that we have been up to in August is school and homework. The kids are really liking it and they are doing great! All four kids have great teachers and they are making some good friends too. All of their classes celebrate one student each week as the Star Student. And each teacher has a different way of selecting who will be the star student for the week, but in the first three weeks of school, three of my kids had already had their turn at being the Star Student. They always love it because they get the opportunity to make a poster to present to the class, and there are different priveleges that each teacher gives them for the week. Celebrating my kiddos is one of my favorite things to do, so its fun for me too!


This is Macy's poster all about her. It represents her well with the added glitter and bows - she is always good at accessorizing.


Macy got to spend a week with Super Bear. Kids always love that!

Jack made this poster to share with his class. He also wrote a short biography in the Star Student notebook.


Tommy's poster has added character from the rain that got on it, but, nonetheless, it really does a good job of telling about my boy.


Tommy got to spend the week with Ted E. Bear too! He didn't actually swim with us, but he watched from the patio!

Allie's teacher has yet to draw Allie's name out of the hat for star student, but she has assured me that Allie is a great student, and a joy to have in class. No surprise to me! I love all four of my students!
