Summer fun!

Tommy finished swim classAlmost every picture I could post about our summer would involve swimming. The first of which is Tommy with his favorite swim teachers, Miss Sarah and Miss Christy. He smiled all the way through swim class for two weeks. And now he is swimming like a little fish. It is fun to see him doing so well with it.

Uno in the poolWe found the coolest set of Uno cards ever! They are called H2O Uno! The kids love holding their cards under water and looking at them with their goggles on. It is double the fun of playing it on dry land!

Weber and Dickinson girlsMy kiddos just love the Dickinson girls! It was fun to hang out and bbq with them!

Hanging out on the grottoZoe loves swimming just as much as the kids. She will cry non-stop if she is not allowed to come swim with us. She is a natural.

Zoe and Macy jumping in the poolZoe loves jumping off the waterfall too. It is so fun to watch her.

Three happy boysDoes this photo have "summer" written all over it, or what? It captures the totally carefree feeling of summer - at least for me it does. We had our good friend, Max, over for a sleepover, and our daughters slept over with Max's sister, Samantha. Sleepovers seem to be magically fun for our kiddos. We all had a great time!

Playing after swim classThis is Tommy having a good time playing after swim class in the City of Chandler. All four kids loved their 8 sessions of swim class in June, so we will be going again next week at their request. Can't complain about that!

Happy Father's DayHere's my gorgeous husband with his four great kiddos on Father's Day. They had each made a special card for him, and other goodies too. The day included waffles, church, relaxing in the pool, and duck stew with the Webers. Hopefully, Steve realizes how much he is loved and appreciated. He truly is a great Daddy. I am so thankful for him.

Mario KartThe second most-common theme of our summer is playing the Wii, second to swimming, of course. We are ever-so-kindly babysitting a Wii system for our neighbors who are gone for the summer. We are taking great care of it. There are so many awesome games for it. We are enjoying it thoroughly!

That sums up our summer thus far! More to come! The next month will go by quickly, and then it's back to school. We must "redeem the time"(Eph. 5:16)!
