Here's Macy on New Year's Eve as she is riding her bike without training wheels!!! Way to go, Macy!!!
That evening we celebrated the new year with our neighbors at our house. And then, to stay true to a silly tradition, some people chose to ring in the new year with a jump in a swimming pool! That's right, they jump in a 50 degree pool at the stroke of midnight (NY time, but only 10pm AZ time). I opted to take pictures.

Jack and Daddy jumped all the way in. Jack said, "That was colder than I thought it would be!"
Here's my family of polar bears. This strange little neighborhood tradition made the night very memorable for the kids. They loved being a part of it this year.

So funny! Should we report you guys? That borders on child abuse or brainwashing - hmmmm :) - just kidding - those are the fun times they will always remember. Thank goodness for fun daddies so us mommies can take the pictures and laugh!
