One Direction Concert

These girls have been waiting for 9 months for this concert! They got the tickets as a Christmas gift. This is their best buddy, Regan. We had great seats - the front row of the first deck. Which means that no one was standing right in front of us. It was awesome!

You can see all five of them here: Louis, Niall, Liam, Zayne, and Harry. Liam is the one singing at the moment.

They walked up and down the really long catwalk during most of the songs.

We've been following this group for years now. They started 4 years ago when they met on X Factor (a singing competition tv show). We own their albums and their movie. We love them!

This photo shows in part how the stage was set up. There were 5 huge jumbo-trons (some of them are black at the moment). Notice how huge the screens are in comparison to the boys! And there was lots of laser lights, strobe lights, and fireworks.

Here's a quick video that shows a little more of what the concert was like. One Direction played 20+ songs and then came back for a 4-song encore. This video has the intro video and a few short clips. In one little clip you can see Harry and Niall being silly with a stuffed animal that someone threw on stage. This is pretty normal behavior anytime Harry is involved. It just reminds you that these boys are just kids and they like to have fun. (They're actually between 20 and 23 years old, but they've been at this since they were 16-19 years old - pretty ambitious for some teenagers!)

We stopped to look at all the smoke left in the stadium from the fireworks during the last song. I had a great time with these six girls and my friend, Gabe, too! We had a fun time in the car on the long drive there (the normal drive time to the Cardinals stadium was almost tripled that afternoon). There was lots of singing, joking, and playing games. The traffic on our way home was a piece of cake! It was a late night for a Tuesday night, but we still made it to school the next day. We will all remember this concert for a really long time!!!
