Back by popular demand...

We might have started a new family tradition. Last summer, we gave the kids a chance to stay up as late as they can one night. The kids loved it! As soon as summer came in the start of June, they started asking when they could have a "Stay Up as Late as You Can Night". And the plan was set in motion to see exactly how late they really can stay up.
Cowboy campfireAfter an ice cream night with our neighbors, we headed out to Scottsdale to go to the Cowboy Campfire. They told lots of good stories and sang great campfire songs.

Yummy Sugar BowlWe all enjoyed sharing some sundaes at the Sugar Bowl!

Love these four
My kids LOVE hanging out in this sculpture. And I love them!

We almost had a couple kids fall asleep on the drive home from Scottsdale, but we didn't allow it. There's no sleeping allowed on Stay Up as Late as You Can Night (until you actually give up and go to your bed)!

Swimming at 11:30pmNext, was swimming at about 11:30pm. This is fun because we so rarely swim after dark, we enjoyed swimming with the pool light on!

Pizza at midnightWe had a quick pizza run at midnight because if you stay up this long, you get hungry again. Then we watched some Phineas and Ferb.

Macy, Allie, Tommy and I couldn't stay up any longer. We all went to bed at 1:00am. Jack finally hit the sack at 4:30am after some fun Wii games and more Phineas and Ferb with Daddy. They slept in a tiny bit, but not much. It was definitely a good time!
