Camping in Oak Creek Canyon

We went camping with 9 other families that we know from church. It was at the Cave Springs campground, about a half hour past Sedona. What a great place!

Daddy, his two girls, and yummy hamburgers cooked right over the fire.

These boys came up with a new game of sleeping bag wrestling, where you get in your sleeping bags head-first (so you can't see anything) and then you wrestle each other.

Allie and her friend, Keely, had a ton of fun on the homemade rope swings.

A rousing game of Go Fish.

Taco salad in a bag for lunch. It was a hit!

30 of the 31 kids on the campout!

Tommy was brave enough to get in the swimmin' hole, but I think it was a bit cold for him.

Macy and I on the hike to the swimmin' hole.

The kids all worked on building this fort that they called the Hobbit Hole. Pretty impressive!

Our campsite was only about 30 feet from Oak Creek. The kids did lots of creek-walking!
