Allie always has this smile on her face when we're cheering her on. Each of the kids in Running Club have run about a mile twice a week for practice, and now they have completed three races that were each a mile and a half long. I am sooooo proud of them!
Tommy runs his very fastest when you cheer for him. Even the kindergartners run as much as all the big kids. Tommy did awesome!
At the end of each race, the kids find out how they placed (there's about 500 kids running!), and they get a piece of fruit. Jack did a great job running too! If you look closely here, you can see lots of bandaids on his hands. I won't post the gory pictures, but he had a bad fall on his bike, and he started off with 11 bandaids. Thankfully, there was only one scratch on his face, and he healed up nicely in just about two weeks. May we never forget the importance of wearing a bike helmet the way that we learned it that day - we thank God that he had his on.
The Bumblebees buzzed right through another season of soccer. This is the same team that Allie played with in the fall. These girls continued to improve and work so well as a team. I'm a huge fan!
Macy won fourth place on her science fair project. She worked so hard to get it just perfect. If you're wondering, you can ask her anytime, "Do thick or thin wires provide better passage for electricity?" Macy rocked it!
While it is always sad to see someone grab my boy's flags, in this case, it was just after he had made an interception and ran it back down the field a ways. It was an awesome play! Jack and the Sharks had a great time playing flag football together. They're really getting good!
Jack and his buddy Sam had a great time building their pinewood derby cars and racing them against all the other cars in the pack. Jack's car was super fast, and Sam's was a cool pickup truck. It was a lot of fun.
