Allie is always a star student, but this particular week, she was chosen to be The Star Student for her kindergarten class. She made this poster to share with her class. I would love to hear what she said as she presented it. You can't see it, but on the page she lists things about herself. She has recently chosen a new favorite color, and she has new plans of what she wants to be when she grows up. She, coincidentally, has the same favorite color as her teacher, and she now wants to be a teacher when she grows up (instead of a veterinarian). I'm totally happy with these new things in her life, and choosing Miss Werden as a role model is a great choice! You're awesome, Allie!
Allie had a good week with Super Bear. He even came camping with us! He stayed in the van for most of the entire weekend, in hopes that he would stay cleaner than my kids did - and that worked out just fine. He worked on his phonograms with Allie, and he sat and watched us swim. Allie wrote in his journal to chronicle what she and Super Bear did together.
It was a great week of celebrating my Star Student!
