Life is busy...

The past 2 weeks have been a bit of a blur. Besides a birthday and the new addition mentioned in the previous posts (you may want to go read those first), we have had swim class, doctor appointments, dentist appointments, a vet appointment, end-of-year activities, peach picking with old friends, and a surprise retirement party for my mom. All that in two weeks! Here are a few photos of some good times:

We-pick peaches!
The family on our first ever peach picking excursion. The kids loved it and we got to enjoy lots of peaches!

Old friendsWe met at Schnepf Farms with our friends from college. Their kids fit right in with ours. It was great to be together!

Macy and Mrs. MenaghanToday was Macy's last day of school as a 1st grader. She is now our big 2nd grader! She had an awesome year. She loved her teacher, Mrs. Menaghan, and hopes to become a 1st grade teacher when she grows up.

Last day of Kindersteps
It was Jack's last day of Kindersteps too. He had a great year - he loved going to school. Now, he will head to Kindergarten at CTA next year.

Happy Retirement Surprise!Steve and I and my brother and his wife planned a surprise party to celebrate my mom's retirement. She was totally surprised to arrive at our house and have a bunch of her friends there. It was fun to celebrate with her.

Grandma and her 2 granddaughters
I took this photo of mom with her two granddaughters the night of her party. She gave a tour of their new house to all of her friends at the party. Their house looks great!

That wraps up the past couple weeks in our busy household. Now, with summer here, things should slow down a little bit. Even in all the busy-ness, we love it!
